The Warzone meta is always changing and when it comes to melting enemies at long ranges, few options are as useful as LMGs, which is why an expert in the game revealed a “hidden gem” that will help you combat other powerful weapon options.
The Modern Warfare 3 update promises a ton of new content for Warzone fans, including the introduction of the Urzikstan map and a fresh roster of weapons. However, the integration of both titles is slated for Season 1, allowing plenty of time to play and enjoy Al Mazrah before it’s gone.
The changes introduced with The Haunting event shifted the Warzone Season 6 meta, resulting in one of the most fiercely contested metas. Following months of RPK dominance, LMGs have somewhat weakened in popularity.
While many players still rely on the TAQ-V, Kastov 762, or the recently favored RAPP H for long-range fights, expert SallyIsADog has shared a “hidden gem,” the HCR 56 LMG, that can confidently contend with the current long-range meta.
Best HCR 56 loadout for Warzone Season 6
- Barrel: FTAC Hornet 20″ Barrel
- Muzzle: RF Crown 50
- Optic: SZ Recharge-DX
- Ammunition: 5.56 High Velocity
- Rear Grip: Stip-40 Grip
Warzone content creator SallyIsADog decided to try out a fan-recommended HCR 56 loadout which ended up being the best decision as he described the set-up as a “hidden gem.” Initially, they opted for the FTAC Hornet 20″ Barrel, which improves the gun’s kick control and bullet velocity.
Then, they chose the RF Crown 50 Muzzle which helps to easily control both vertical and horizontal recoil combined with the 5.56 High Velocity Ammunition, to enhance bullet velocity making the LMG almost a laser beam at long distances.
Finally, they selected the Stip-40 Grip to further improve the gun’s recoil control, alongside the SZ Recharge-DX Optic allowing players to efficiently locate targets at long distances, especially in Al Mazrah.
LMGs are a powerful option to easily eliminate rivals within Al Mazrah.
While the creator initially admitted to not being a frequent user of LMGs, he soon developed a strong liking for them, praising their effectiveness in gunfights. “Super accurate, easy to control, I like it,” and added while taking down a distant enemy: “At that range, it really felt like it excelled.”
