LMGs have been taking over Warzone since the BAS-B was hit with a nerf, and CoD expert Kris ‘FaZe Swagg’ Lamberson has revealed that one of the most underrated options in the category is actually a “no recoil” monster in Season 1.
The BAS-B Battle Rifle became the go-to long-range weapon after the Warzone Season 1 update, which saw MW3 guns added to the game for the first time. However, after dominating lobbies in the early days of Urzikstan, it was hit with a nerf in the December 14 update.
This opened the door for LMGs to take over the meta thanks to their huge magazines and high damage output, with the likes of the Pulemyot 762 and Bruen Mk9 quickly stepping up.
However, Warzone expert FaZe Swagg has revealed that another LMG is being slept on by players, and it has meta potential in Season 1.
In his December 17 video, Swagg highlighted the TAQ Eradicator, which was added to Modern Warfare 3 post-launch just before Season 1 got underway. He explained that the newest LMG has “insane mobility” and “no recoil,” which compliments its impressive fire rate for the first few bullets fired.
“It’s actually kind of wild,” the YouTuber continued, commenting on how straight the gun shoots, even at long range, as he said, “the recoil doesn’t exist.”
Swagg also provided his ideal TAQ Eradicator loadout in Warzone, which you can check out below.
Swagg’s “no recoil” TAQ Eradicator loadout in Warzone
- Muzzle: VT-7 Spiritfire Suppressor
- Barrel: Conquer-70 Long Barrel
- Stock: Tacverte Core Stock
- Underbarrel: Bruen Heavy Support Grip
- Rear Grip: FSS Combat Grip
Swagg kicked off his best TAQ Eradicator loadout in Warzone with the VT-7 Spiritfire Suppressor and Conquer-70 Long Barrel, which buff the LMG’s range and bullet velocity to make it deadly in the open spaces of Urzikstan.
Next up, he went for the Tacverte Core Stock and Bruen Heavy Support Grip for extra recoil control, keeping the Eradicator laser accurate during hectic fights. He also went for the FSS Combat Grip for even more accuracy, as well as faster aim walking speeds.
All-in-all, with this setup, Swagg felt that the TAQ Eradicator has what it takes to rival the best guns in Warzone and help fill the hole left by the BAS-B nerf. Be sure to take it for a spin in your next match.
