MW3 & Warzone True Legends Event: Beginning Date, Ways to Obtain Free Rewards, and Additional Details

Activision have announced the first Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone event as part of Call of Duty Endowment, giving players the chance to earn free rewards. Here’s everything you need to know about the MW3 and Warzone True Legends event, including the start date and how to unlock rewards.

Modern Warfare 3 has finally arrived and players from around the world are hopping into the latest multiplayer offering from Sledgehammer Games. The follow-up to MW2 (2022) is packed full of weapons and gear to unlock, giving fans plenty to grind towards as they level up.

Unlike past entries in the series, MW3 also features guns, Operators, and Blueprints from last year’s game as part of the Carry Forward feature. But to celebrate Call of Duty Endowment, which helps real war veterans find work after returning home, the devs are bringing even more free rewards with the True Legends event.

MW3 & Warzone True Legends event start & end date

Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone True Legends gets underway on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, less than a week after MW3 first launched.

The Field Event will be live for a full seven days, before coming to an end on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, giving players plenty of time to earn every reward up for grabs.

The True Legends event also brings the Koa King Operator to both games.

How to earn free rewards in MW3 & Warzone True Legends

Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone players will be able to earn free True Legends rewards simply “by playing the game and earning XP.” In the blog post announcing the event, the devs explained that picking up XP in matches will unlock a new Tier, with each Tier containing a free item.

Bonus XP can also be earned by equipping the Koa King Operator, who features in the Warrior Pack that will be available to buy from the in-game store during this event. This new Operator is inspired by Benjamin F., a Samoan Navy Seal who served in Europe, Africa, Afghanistan, and Iraq over a 16-year career.

There are 10 different rewards to unlock during the Warzone and Modern Warfare 3 True Legends event, all inspired by Call of Duty Endowment. Players will earn a different item with each new Tier they reach, so check out all of the rewards below:
