MW3 expert TheXclusiveAce has revealed their Ranked Play SMG loadout, which is a perfect alternative to the meta Rival-9.
Since MW3 released its highly anticipated Ranked Play mode in Season 1 Reloaded, players have been scrambling to find the best loadouts possible, in hopes of climbing the ranks.
There are many weapons to choose from, despite the Ranked Play restrictions. For close-range, the Rival-9 SMG has been dominating lobbies, but fears are growing that the weapon could be added to the restricted list very soon.
So, with that said, MW3 content creator and expert TheXclusiveAce has shared a loadout for a different SMG that can compete with the Rival-9, and even has a better TTK.
TheXclusiveAce highlights the WSP-Swarm as “perfectly viable for Ranked Play,” and even shared a loadout for the SMG that helps control the recoil so that you can hit as many bullets as possible, which enables it to keep up with the Rival-9.
TheXclusiveAce’s best MW3 Ranked Play WSP Swarm loadout
- Barrel: WSP Reckless-90 Long Barrel
- Muzzle: Purifier Muzzle Brake
- Underbarrel: SL Skeletal Vertical Grip
- Rear Grip: Marauder Grip
- Stock: FSS Fortress Heavy Stock
TheXclusiveAce‘s WSP Swarm loadout focuses heavily on taming the SMG’s strong recoil, which is essential in Ranked Play where every bullet counts. That’s why the MW3 expert has gone for the attachments above, as they all combine to help with recoil control, while also maintaining great mobility and movement speed with the gun.
The Rival-9 is fairly easy to control, so this build for the WSP Swarm makes it much more competitive in terms of stay on target, even outside of the SMG’s optimal range.
It’s also important to note that the WSP Swarm is a much more close-range reliant weapon than the Rival-9, so keep that in mind while you’re turning corners and engaging the enemy team in MW3 Ranked Play.
If you’ve been looking for a new SMG to use in MW3 Ranked Play, this WSP Swarm loadout is certainly worth a go. For more, check out when Season 2 is expected to be released and what we know about the patch so far.
