Modern Warfare 3 will receive new maps throughout its cycle to add to the classic MW2 2009 maps and some fans are wondering when the classic Shipment map is coming to MW3.
Modern Warfare 3 players are always looking forward to more content and with Season 1 on the way, new weapons, maps, and a brand-new Battle Pass are all expected to arrive. Despite the arrival of new weapons, you might still be hard at work grinding camos and levels for the current guns in MW3.
One of the best ways to level up fast in Call of Duty games is by jumping into the chaotic Shipment map. While the iconic Shipment is currently not available in Modern Warfare 3, players are wondering if it will arrive soon.
To make the grind that much easier, here’s when Shipment is coming to MW3.
Is Shipment coming to MW3?
The Shipment map is coming to Modern Warfare 3 on Thursday, November 30, 2023, with the next Playlist update. Once a week the Modern Warfare 3 Playlist receives an update and previews the changes that are set to arrive the following week.

On November 22, the MW3 Playlist update brought Gun Game, Rust 24/7, and 10v10 Mosh Pit to the game. The update also previewed the upcoming Rustment 24/7, which will include, “6v6 Mosh Pit game modes on Shipment and Rust.”
While we knew that Shipment would make its way to the game at some point, many believed it would come after the Modern Warfare 3 Season 1 update. Players who love to grind camos and weapon levels will be pleased to see that Shipment is arriving sooner than expected.
Keep in mind that the devs already confirmed that the version of Shipment coming to Modern Warfare 3 will not introduce a new layout or design. As with other MW2 maps like Mercado Las Almas and Crown Raceway, Shipment in MW3 will be a direct port of the version from MW2.
