MW3 Zombies players can get the Dog Bone Schematic to spawn a friendly Hellhound to help them survive. Here’s how you can get the Dog Bone in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies.
MW3 Zombies has a lot to offer players, not only in terms of the four Story Mission Acts but also thanks to the abundance of gear to collect.
From Perks to Schematics and Wonder Weapons, players can vastly improve their inventory and Stash by completing some of the mode’s toughest tasks. With the Season 1 update for MW3, even more content was added to the game, with the Dark Aether Rift taking center stage.
The Dark Aether is a new location for MW3 Zombies that offers players a chance to get exciting new Schematics and rewards, but it’s also the toughest place to survive, especially once you unlock the Elder Dark Aether, which is essentially Tier 3.
Speaking of the new Schematics, players can now get the Dog Bone in Zombies, which instantly spawns in a friendly Hellhound when consumed. This is a great help when taking on the game’s difficult bosses and tasks, so here’s how to get it.
MW3 Zombies: How to get Dog Bone
To get the Dog Bone Schematic in MW3 Zombies, players need to unlock the Elder Dark Aether (Tier 3) and complete Contracts to receive the Dog Bone in a reward rift.
Here’s a quick breakdown of how to unlock the Elder Dark Aether and Dog Bone Schematic in MW3 Zombies:
- Complete the Bad Signal Story Mission.
- Unlock Tier 2 of the Dark Aether.
- Earn an Elder Sigil by completing Contracts in Tier 2 of the Dark Aether.
- Place the Elder Sigil on the Dark Aether portal to go to the Elder Dark Aether (Tier 3).
- Complete Contracts in Tier 3 of the Dark Aether until you get the Dog Bone Schematic in a reward rift.
There’s a high chance you will receive one of the three new Schematics in the game: Dog Bone, Aether Blade, and the Golden Armor Plate.
The Dog Bone will instantly spawn a friendly Hellhound, which is a very strong companion that can help greatly when trying to defeat bosses and complete difficult high-tier Contracts.
